Where We Are In Place and Time

Let's start out the year with a fresh unit! This unit is Where We Are In Place and Time, this unit talks about the history of civilization around the globe. This unit our Inquiry Into is: Past Civilization, What contribution have impacted later times and The influence of past civilization on the host country. Our Central Idea is: Past civilization have made contribution to our present day society. Key concept: Causation, Change and Connection. God has influence us in many ways and God relates to this unit because He made people that is from the past so we could learn it at the future. He made the past civilization, He mad it so we could know that it's hard to work because they didn't have any good technology like we have now days. For example like Computer, X box, PlayStation and more. He made this so we could know there is a big change between the past, present and future. The most important thing is that HE MADE ALL OF THIS! It's important that we learn about history of civilization because if we don't we could get tricked by someone like for example that long ago people were monkey's not human. That is not true so we need to learn about history. It's sometimes scary when we see picture of ancient things because it just almost look that its real and it will happen today. But we know that it's just a picture and it really happen but it happen a long time ago.

I would like to become a diligent person by doing my homework and showing God's word. I would like to become that kind of person because it help me to work more harder of passing grades and help me to learn God's word to. As it says in Matthew 23:12 For whoever exalts him will be humble, and who ever humble him will be exalts. I chose that verse because that verse always reminds me to raise up things. For example like to raise up my grades so I can pass sixth grade and move on to senior school. Some times if I like forgot the verse people around says that I need to raise things up. I like being a diligent person because it helps me to show my talent through out this year and to let everyone know that i have a gift from God and everyone has a gift from God. To become a diligent person I need to have patience and it takes time, and i need to have faith in God also because I know that God will help me to become this kind of person and I know if we have faith in God we can move mountain because faith can move mountain.
